Grade 1A

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students!

A warm welcome to all my Grade One students. My name is Mrs Ceren and I am thrilled to be teaching your sons and daughters.

For families that don’t know me; I have been teaching at Sirius College since 2011. During my teaching career I have taught Foundation, Grades One, Two and Three. I will only be with my students for a short term this year as I will be going on Maternity Leave in the middle of Term Two. However, I promise to make these two terms enjoyable, fun and full of endless learning.

Grade One is a completely different milestone for your child. From this level and onwards, students will learn to become independent, responsible and organised.

We have had a fantastic start to the academic year. All students have made a smooth and happy transition into the classroom. All the Grade 1A students are trying really hard and are eagerly learning new topics each day.

In the upcoming weeks there are some exciting events that will be occurring for our Lower Primary students. All the students are very excited and are looking forward to these events:

• Body and Mind Incursion.
• Responsible Pet Ownership Program
• Harmony Day
• Anti-Bullying Week.
